A public gathering will be held in the city on Monday in memory of the victims of the Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris.
People are being asked to assemble outside the Forum at 6.30pm to remember the journalists, cartoonists and police officers killed in Wednesday’s attack.
Organiser Clementine Pellegrino said the event would be one of “peace and mind-opening” and demonstrate people in Norwich “are not ready to accept censorship and a dominant thought.”
She added:
Help us in the battle against extremism, and help us give the Muslim community our support in this time of need.
